Carmen Eby
Licensed Professional Counseling Associate
Carmen desires to create a safe place for her clients to explore their story and come alongside them in their healing journey. She uses Attachment Theory and Emotion Focused Therapy to help her clients understand their unmet longings in their early relationships as well as work through the negative experiences that have threatened their sense of connection with others. Carmen graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with her masters in Mental Health Counseling. In her clinical experience, she has worked with people dealing with trauma and grief including women in recovery from addiction and sexual trauma. She has worked with couples helping them to understand one another better using an attachment lens. She has also been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which uses rapid eye movements and unique visualization techniques to erase old images and change the physiological response to the memory that has caused distress. It has been beneficial and healing for those suffering with depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, PTSD, substance abuse, sexual abuse, obsessive compulsive disorder, addictions, and many other mental and physical conditions. Carmen is currently seeing clients 16 years old and older including families and couples.
